AltHub collects minimal personal data. We may collect:
- Email address (when you subscribe to our newsletter)
- IP address (hashed, for vote deduplication)
- OAuth profile data (when you sign in via GitHub or Google)
- Analytics data (page views via privacy-focused analytics)
How We Use Your Data
- Newsletter subscriptions: To send weekly tool recommendations
- Hashed IP addresses: To prevent duplicate votes (we never store raw IPs)
- Analytics: To understand which pages are popular and improve the site
Cookies
We use minimal cookies required for authentication sessions. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.
Third-Party Services
- Supabase (database and authentication)
- Vercel (hosting)
- Plausible Analytics (privacy-focused analytics, no cookies)
- Resend (email delivery)
Data Retention
Newsletter subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. We delete your email upon unsubscription. Hashed IP data is retained only for deduplication purposes.
